007 - Blending filament

Individual spool of Kreinik Blending filament (not in blister pack). Recommended needle size for blending filament depends in part on the fabric being used as well as the fiber being used with the blending filament. Blending filament is generally used in combination with another thread in the same needle when stitching. When using hi lustre blending filament, lay the filament flat and smooth in your stitches to take best advantage of the reflective quality of the blending filament.
Care
Kreinik braids are hand or machine washable using cool water. Do not use bleach. They can be tumble-dried on a low setting. When ironing, press on the wrong side using a pressing cloth and do not use steam.
Tips
When stitching with metallic threads, be sure to use short lengths of thread to reduce abrasion as you pull the thread through your fabric. You may wish to use Thread Heaven or slightly moisten the thread to reduce twisting while stitching. It is also helpful to use the stab method when stitching with metallic threads rather than the "sewing" method.
