003V - #4 Very Fine braid

Individual spool of #4 Very Fine braid (not in blister pack). Recommended needle size for #4 Very Fine braid is Tapestry needle size 24 or 26. These needles have a large enough eye to minimize damage to the thread.
The width of a single strand of #4 Very Fine braid is approximately .35mm for the basic colors, .32mm for the hi lustre colors, .30mm for the cord colors, .39 for the Japan colors and .54 for the fluorescent colors.
Care
Kreinik braids are hand or machine washable using cool water. Do not use bleach. They can be tumble-dried on a low setting. When ironing, press on the wrong side using a pressing cloth and do not use steam.
Tips
When stitching with metallic threads, be sure to use short lengths of thread to reduce abrasion as you pull the thread through your fabric. You may wish to use Thread Heaven or slightly moisten the thread to reduce twisting while stitching. It is also helpful to use the stab method when stitching with metallic threads rather than the "sewing" method.
